What is Solution  Focused Hypnotherapy?

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a type of “talking therapy” ​that combines the use of psychotherapy with hypnosis. It ​helps people to achieve positive change. Rather than ​focusing on “the problem” this approach centres around the ​solution. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is based on up-to-​date neuroscience research of how our brains work and the ​focus is always on the positive rather than the negative.

We use trance to enhance the therapeutic work that we do. ​Trance is very normal - we all go in and out of trance many ​times a day such a when reading, driving a regular route, ​going for a run or when we are concentrating on something. ​Trance can be likened to “daydreaming” making my sessions ​relaxing and enjoyable. We will work together to bring about ​positive changes in your life without dwelling on the past.
